Tasks & campaigns

Push the right work to the right stores.

Define task types once, bundle them into visit templates, and roll a promotion or range review out to hundreds of accounts with a field campaign. Reps see exactly what to do on each visit, and you see what got done.

The problem

Instructions get lost between head office and the store.

Every rep does it differently.Without a defined task list, the same promotion is checked one way in one store and another way in the next.
Rolling out a program takes days.Adding the same work to hundreds of visits by hand is slow and easy to get wrong.
Unfinished work has no explanation. When a task isn't done, nobody records why, so it's hard to follow up.
What it does

Define the work once and roll it out everywhere.

Task types and visit templatesDefine the work, color-code visit types and bundle tasks into ready-made visit templates.
Field CampaignsThe same tasks across many accounts and reps at once. Existing Not Started visits get the campaign's tasks added.

Smart Task AssignmentAssign tasks to the right visits using rules configured for your org during setup.
Grouped product tasksTasks for the same product and task type are grouped, with progress such as "2 / 5 Products".
Reasons for unfinished tasksAt check-out, reps choose a reason for each task they couldn't do. Reasons come from the task type.
Next Visit To Do'sLeave tasks and notes for the next visit to the account.
ObjectivesTargets per task type for each call cycle, with target, planned and completed counts.

Questions

Common questions

Can we create our own tasks?

Yes. Your admin defines task types, visit types and templates in Salesforce. Some advanced workflows need implementation work, which we scope with you.

Can a campaign add tasks to visits that are already planned?

Yes. When a field campaign runs, Not Started visits to the campaign's accounts get its tasks added.

Can reps add tasks themselves?

That depends on your setup. Some teams let reps add tasks during a visit, and others lock which tasks and surveys go together.

How do we see what was completed?

Task status and reasons sync to Salesforce with the visit, so you can report on completion by store, rep or campaign.
