How It Works
How a store visit gets from a manager's plan to a rep's phone and back.
Managers plan visits in Salesforce. Reps complete them in the FieldKo Atlas app, with or without a signal. Everything syncs back as Salesforce records your team can report on.
02 · Visit
Reps complete the visit in the FieldKo Atlas app.
Check in, work through the visit's tasks, and check out. Everything below works with no connection.
In the store
More than surveys: the whole store visit, on one phone.
Reps record every part of the visit in the FieldKo Atlas app, and nearly all of it works with no signal.
See Smart Camera in the guide →Smart CameraLive prompts help frame the shelf photo, then an on-device check scores lighting, clarity, completeness and stability. The check works offline.
Core rangingRecord which of an account's contracted products are on the shelf, with quantities if you track them.
Pack-outs and short-dated stockScan products, record quantities and expiry dates, and take before and after photos.
Place an orderBuild a cart from the account's price book, capture the customer's signature and submit, even offline.
Log an incidentRecord something that went wrong at an account during a visit, with an optional photo.
Dashboards and ChatterView and filter Salesforce dashboards in the app, and post to Chatter with mentions, photos and files.
Sync safeguards
Built so a rep's work doesn't get lost between the store and Salesforce.
Everything a rep does offline is saved in an encrypted database on the device and queued until it syncs.
How offline work and sync work →Pending ChangesThe Sync screen shows how many changes are waiting to upload, and keeps a sync history.
Records first, then photosA photo uploads after the record it belongs to, so it stays linked. Related records upload in the right order.
Clear rules when a record changes twiceFor visits, tasks, survey answers, orders and other core records, a newer change in Salesforce is kept, and the sync tells the rep.
Warnings before data is lostReset Sync and logging out warn the rep when photos or files haven't uploaded yet.
Recovery through supportReps can email a copy of their app data to FieldKo support to recover or investigate unsynced work.
