A must-stock line missing creates a follow-up
When a rep records a must-stock product as missing, a flow creates a task for the account owner with a due date.
The story
Chris · Salesforce admin · Head office
Head office flags 12 products as must-stock. Chris builds the out-of-stock flow from the FieldKo recipe: when a ranging line shows a must-stock product isn't present, a Salesforce task is created for the account owner, due in three working days. On Monday, reps record 17 missing must-stock lines across 11 stores. By the time they've synced, 17 tasks are waiting for the account managers, each with the store and the product.
In Salesforce
Tasks are created as reps' ranging syncs.
- Only the lines that matterThe flow fires for products flagged as must-stock, not every gap.
- A task with an owner and a dateThe follow-up goes to the account owner with a due date, so it's tracked.
- Or on the next visitThe same flow can add the follow-up to the store's Next Visit To Do's instead.
