Price exceptions across the chain
A national account manager pulls every price exception for one retailer and takes photo evidence of three stores ticketing below floor price into the buyer meeting.
Rob · National account manager · Head office
Rob meets a retailer's buyer at 2:00 on Wednesday. At 11:00 he runs the price exception report for the retailer's stores over the last four weeks: 31 exceptions across 214 checks. Most are out-of-date promo tickets. But three stores are selling the 1 L cold brew at $3.90, below the agreed floor of $4.20. He exports the report with the shelf photos and walks into the meeting with evidence, not anecdotes.
Rob runs the report three hours before the meeting.
