A pub's taps and point-of-sale, audited
A rep audits a London pub's font, glassware and point-of-sale against the brand's standards, and requests new drip mats from the bar.
Hannah · Field rep · The Red Lion, Clapham
Hannah visits The Red Lion in Clapham at 2:30, after the lunch trade. The on-trade audit has nine questions: is the lager font lit, is branded glassware in use, are the drip mats and menu listing current. The font is lit and the glassware is right, but the drip mats are last season's and the menu lists the wrong ABV. She photographs both, requests new drip mats in the survey and agrees the menu fix with the manager, Sean.
- The brand's standards, every pubThe same nine questions in every outlet make the estate comparable.
- Photos where it mattersThe font, the glassware and the menu are photographed, so the brand sees the bar.
- Request POS on the spotNew drip mats are requested in the survey, without a separate email.
Hannah syncs at 3:05. The POS request is with the field marketing team that afternoon.
